Visions Collection

Five new paintings. With soft blues, shimmering gold, and rich copper accents, this collection is the result of no reference images, just visions from the essence of places that hold a special place in my heart. What do they make you feel?

The Artist

Alexandria is a self-taught artist from Alberta, Canada, specializing in bold, textured palette knife paintings of mountain landscapes. Her work blurs the line between real and imagined, pulling viewers into scenes that feel alive and immersive.

Curious by nature, she has always sought deeper meaning in the world around her. Art has been a constant in her life, from childhood sketchbooks to a past career in interior design. But in 2020, she picked up a palette knife for the first time and discovered something different—flow state. Painting felt natural, especially the freedom of creating without rules, just trusting the process. Mountains have always been where she feels most connected to herself, so they became the heart of her work.

She chose acrylics for their fast drying time, crucial to her technique, and favors Golden and Liquitex for their rich, oil-like pigments. As she continues her artistic journey, Alexandria is passionate about creating pieces that are both visually striking and deeply moving—sparking personal connections while raising awareness for the landscapes that inspire her.

You can currently find Alexandria’s work hanging at The Royal Glenora Club, The Derrick Club, and District Coffee in Edmonton, and Eclipse Coffee in Canmore.
